Your baby will now be between 0.9 to 1.2 inches (22 to 30 millimeters) and weighs around 0.14 ounces (4 grams). The elbows should also be fully developed by now, as well as the toe rays. Gonads should have completed their growth into either testes or ovaries. The tail at the bottom of your baby’s spinal cord has shrunk and almost disappeared by this week. In contrast, your baby’s head has been growing-it’s quite large compared with the rest of the body and it curves onto the chest. Your baby will start to move around now as his or her muscles develop, and the bone formation process will be continuing to harden your baby’s bones. You yourself may still be feeling some of the symptoms of early pregnancy, such as nausea, feeling tired and dizziness.
