Other Sexually Transmitted Diseases

There are many more infections and infestations that can be acquired as the consequence of sexual intercourse. These include hepatitis B and C, Candida vulvovaginitis, scabies, and pediculosis pubis. These infections are discussed elsewhere in the text.
