Information
Question:
Can pain in the jaw or teeth be an indication of a heart attack?
Answer:
Sometimes. Heart pain can radiate to the jaw and teeth. It cannot be emphasized enough that a heart attack may have symptoms other than chest pain and these symptoms should be evaluated immediately. See chest pain and acute MI.
Pain in the upper teeth may also indicate other things like a sinus infection. An evaluation by your doctor is important to know the cause of your symptoms.
