The Hamilton County General Health District will hold a flu vaccination clinic, December 17, for children who meet the federal guidelines for getting the flu shot.
Children must be six months to 23 months-old or 18-years-old and younger with a chronic medical condition. Any child in contact with an infant six months old and younger can get the vaccine. And, any child in contact with a pregnant woman, whose due date is before May 1, is eligible.
If your child meets these qualifications, call the Health District’s flu shot hotline Friday December 10, at 513-disease, to make a reservation. The hotline opens Friday at 8:00 am, and will remain open until 4:00 pm. On December 17, the clinic will be held at the Hamilton County General Health District, on William Howard Taft Road, on the second floor.
