An 8-month old girl remains in critical condition after suffering severe head injuries at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
Police said a nurse reported finding the child out of a crib and bleeding on the floor in a high-security area Saturday night.
Medical Center spokesman Tom Hanley said hospital officials will be talking to police later in the day for updates.
All employees working at the time were interviewed Sunday, and police collected evidence throughout the day.
The baby has been hospitalized since birth for undisclosed reasons.
Police are investigating whether the child was injured accidentally or was beaten.
