Another swine flu victim in WA

A West Australian private school student has become the state’s third case of swine flu.

The year 7 Scotch College student returned from a trip to Melbourne earlier this week before going on a school camp.

He then fell ill and hasn’t returned to school.

89 students and ten staff members who also attended the camp are being tested for the virus and anyone with flu-like symptoms is being urged to stay at home.

The school’s acting headmaster Peter Freitag, says the boy’s case has been described as mild, and as he doesn’t have older siblings, there’s no cause for concern within the senior school.
