Nearly 27-million people live with diabetes and 57-million more are pre-diabetic. Not only can this disease be life threatening, but it can take a huge toll on families and on those who have it- if it’s not treated properly.

Sally Pinkstaff, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.E., F.A.C.P., an endocrinologist at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore with more than 25 years of medical experience, has dedicated her career to helping people manage their diabetes.

Dr. Pinkstaff is available as an expert on diabetes, how it can be prevented and how it is treated. She can also cut through the medical-ese of studies to make complicated medical studies understandable and relevant.

Dr. Pinkstaff has an M.D. with specialties in endocrinology and geriatrics and a Ph.D. in medical physiology. Professional memberships include the American Society of Internal Medicine, American Diabetes Association, The Endocrine Society and the American Association of Diabetes Educators. She is on the board of directors of the Mid Atlantic AACE chapter. Not only does she educate patients, but also future doctors as a faculty member at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Medical Center.

This published physician is passionate about giving people the tools, skills and techniques necessary to follow a prescribed diabetes treatment regimen safely, comfortably and accurately.
